Community Strategies Group, Inc has been providing strategic communications and public relations including consensus building and community relations support to developers in San Diego County since 2006.  Linda Bailey brings a decade of consensus building expertise and a lifetime of community relationship building experience to her own, unique company.  Jenni Cook, her partner, furnishes Community Strategies Group, Inc with a fresh outlook and a wide variety of experiences that will help insure the success of every CSG project.

Linda Bailey is the Principal of Community Strategies Group, Inc.  She started her firm in 2006 in response to requests for her expertise.  Beginning in 1999, Mrs. Bailey developed a community relations strategy as an employee of New Urban West that led to the largest all-volunteer support group for a development project in the City of Escondido.  Bailey spent 2 years as the CEO of the Escondido Chamber of Commerce, building and strengthening relationships in North San Diego County.  She brings strong relationships with city officials and electeds in Escondido, San Marcos and Oceanside as well as the County of San Diego Department of Planning and Land Use and the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.   She served on the Palomar Pomerado Health Board of Directors from 2007-2008.   She is also a past chair of the Escondido Charitable Foundation, President of the Rotary Club of Escondido, a board member of the San Diego North Economic Development Council, Co-Economic Development Chair at the San Diego North Chamber of Commerce and an active member of the Escondido Chamber of Commerce.  Community Strategies Group, Inc is also a Chairman's Circle member at the San Diego North Chamber of Commerce.  She and Mrs. Cook chaired the Boys & Girls Club of Greater San Diego County's Christmas Tree Lane Event in 2009.  Mrs. Bailey received the Escondido Chamber of Commerce's Volunteer of the Year Award in 2009 and the Business Leader of the Year Award in 2010.  The San Diego Business Journal named Mrs. Bailey one of their 2010 Women Who Mean Business and one of their 2010 Most Admired CEOs.

Jenni Cook joined Community Strategies Group, Inc as a partner in 2008.  She works hand and hand with Linda Bailey to make sure each client receives the best possible results.  Mrs. Cook brings a vast background covering public relations, communications, media training, marketing, and sales to Community Strategies Group, Inc along with a youthful vitality and exciting, fresh ideas.  In 2002 Mrs. Cook earned her BA in Business Economics with a minor in Sports Management from the University of California, Santa Barbara and in 2006 she received her MBA with an emphasis in Sports Management from San Diego State University.  Community Strategies Group, Inc is excited to have her immense business knowledge and training to compliment its other resources.  Mrs. Cook’s educational background in economics, management and the sports industry are valuable assets to the Community Strategies Group, Inc team.   With her employment history covering such notable companies as Sports Media Challenge, the San Diego Chargers, Tom Tomlin Associates and Danaher Corporation, Mrs. Cook helps ensure that each Community Strategies Group, Inc client reaches their goals (and more).  Mrs. Cook is a member of the Rotary Club of Escondido, a past YMCA Board Member and serves on the Escondido Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.  Mrs. Cook is  a 2010 graduate of Cal State San Marcos' Leadership North County.  She and Mrs. Bailey chaired the Boys & Girls Club of Greater San Diego County's Christmas Tree Lane in 2009.  In 2010, Mrs. Cook chaired the Escondido Chamber of Commerce's 100th Annual Dinner.
